Thomas Tuchel is set for a huge payout after Chelsea sacked him.
Chelsea parted ways with Tuchel on Wednesday morning following their Champions League loss to Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday.
The German coach has had a difficult start to the season, and the match in Croatia seemed to be the tip of the iceberg.
Tuchel will no doubt be heartbroken to lose his job, but according to the Daily Mail, he will receive a £13m payout.
The report claims that Graham Potter is admired and that Chelsea plan to make an appointment before their match against Fulham on Saturday.
The Chelsea staff members who will also be sacked will receive around £2m between them, costing the club more than £15m to sack Tuchel.
Tuchel was understood to be one of the highest earning managers in the Premier League, earning a salary of around £13 million a year.
If Chelsea decide to go after Potter then it won’t be a surprise to see the Brighton man appointed as the money they are willing to offer their managers is monumental.
