Wolves Transfer News: English Premier League club Wolves have identified England international Andy Caroll as their backup plan for the forward position.

Upon joining the Hammers, Caroll eventually regained his form. He scored more than 40 goals in his stay at the club. Caroll then returned to Newcastle for his second season, but his performance was nowhere near his before.

As confirmed by multiple reports, Wolves have agreed terms with Spanish international Diego Costa to join the club on a free transfer.

However, when Costa was unable to acquire the work permit, the Wolves began to think about him.

According to the English outlet, the Mirror Wolves are expected to offer Andy Caroll a one-year deal if they fail to acquire Diego Costa within the next 48 hours.
