Fabio Carvalho is clearly not dreaming small after a clip from @PFA on Twitter showed the Liverpool midfielder setting himself the goal of “a few Ballon d’Ors, a few Champions Leagues” in his playing career.
It’s too early to back the Portuguese star’s initial prediction, though it would be foolish to dismiss the possibility of the flashes of brilliance we’ve already witnessed, including a late winner at Newcastle United in stoppage time.
We look forward to seeing the 20-year-old achieve his goals in the famous red shirt before and after Jurgen Klopp calls it a day in charge of the club.
