Y2 Boxing has won the promotional rights for the World Boxing Association (WBA) cruiserweight title fight between champion Arsen Gulamirian and mandatory challenger Aleksei Egorov.
The company, represented by Yohan Zaoui and David Berlin, made an offer of US$364,000.00, which exceeded that of the other participants and set the date for the fight on November 19 in Paris or Le Cannet Cote D’Azur, in France.
The contracts signed by both parties with details of the venue and the date must be sent in the next few days within the times established by the internal regulations of the WBA.
The distribution of the fight will be 75% for Goulamirian as champion, while the challenger will keep 25% of the purse.
The Mundo de Boxeo promotion also participated with an offer of US$303,000.00 but did not reach the winning company’s offer.
