Lamberto Zauli insists Miretti has what it takes to face Neymar and MbappeJuvefc.com

Fabio Miretti’s development has not surprised former Juventus U23 coach Lamberto Zauli as the youngster battles with more experienced midfielders at the club for a place in the squad.

The 19-year-old broke into the squad at the end of last season and we expected him to return to the U19 squad this campaign.

However, he has become one of Max Allegri’s favourites, and the Bianconeri coach has given him the starting job in important games this season.

The youngster has the potential to become a leader in their midfield in the future, and could be a starter when they take on PSG in the Champions League this midweek.

Zauli thinks he can impress if he gets picked to play. He said, quoted by Calciomercato:

“Seeing him against holy monsters like Neymar and Mbappé would be a surprise, but the boy has great quality and personality; with these characteristics he can play against anyone”.

Juve FC says

Miretti is a huge talent and has started his playing career at one of the biggest clubs in the world.

The midfielder will be well-trained at Juve and has so many experienced teammates who will give him advice on how he can improve.
