Juventus fans accused of anti-SemitismJuvefc.com

One of the bad parts of our beautiful game is the small group of fans that make racism thrive in the stadiums, and that reared its ugly head again over the weekend.

Saturday was a great day in Italian football, with very interesting matches starring the different teams.

One of the matches that day was the Inter Milan derby against AC Milan.

Arguably the match was the highlight of the day, but Juventus also visited Fiorentina, one of the most difficult venues to get a result in Serie A.

The Bianconeri achieved a 1-1 draw against La Viola, a result that keeps them close to the top of the league.

As the players battled for a win, some Bianconeri fans chanted anti-Semitic chants in the stands, according to a report by Football Italia.

The report says that they sang: “The Viola are not Italian, but a handful of Jews, the Viola is the color I hate, the color I hate the most, let’s sterilize their women, so that no more are born.”

Juve FC says

This football club does not endorse racism in any way and it is clear as day that diversity is an important part of us as an organisation.

We sign players from different regions and our fans must stop racial abuse, even if it is caused by rival supporters.
