Juventus Women have two upcoming matches against Danish opponents, HB Køge. Juventus manager Stefano Braghin spoke to the Juventus website about the upcoming games.
As reported by the Juventus website, Braghin claimed that HB Køge has dominated the Danish league for the last three seasons and is one of the best teams in Europe. Køge has a good number of international players due to playing in the group stage last season.
Although they may not be a top-seeded team, we can still consider their value as a team among the best teams in Europe.
Braghin also spoke on the Juventus website about the difficulties that women will have this year, stating that there has been no pre-season. If you add to this the lack of vacations that women have had, in reality “they have been playing for two years in a row.”
Braghin went on to say that despite these difficulties, the team, himself and his coach “must give their best” this season.
Juventus’ website further reported that Braghin admitted that Køge will have the upper hand. The advantage for Køge comes from giving fewer players to their national teams and playing more games in the league.
Braghin commented that the women of the HB Køge team will be in much better shape due to the number of games they have played in the league.
Despite the competition, the advantages HB Køge has and the difficulties facing the Juventus players, Braghin remains confident.
Even though it may be new territory, they still have to find their own way through it. Fans hold out hope that the team will emerge victorious in the end.
