Man Utd news: Bruno Fernandes recorded his 23rd Premier League assist in an open game in the Red Devils’ 3-1 win over Arsenal.
The Old Trafford team hosted Arsenal in their last game and came out with all three points. The Red Devils made it four wins in a row by defeating Arsenal.
Arsenal had come into the game top of the league and with five wins from five games this season. But they were unable to maintain their perfect start to the season as Man Utd emerged victorious.

The locals took the lead again through Marcus Rashford just six minutes later. Bruno Fernandes provided the assist for the goal.
The Portuguese midfielder played a delightful ball up the middle which Rashford expertly ran and finished past Aaron Ramsdale.
That was Fernandes’ 23rd assist in the Premier League from open play, according to Opta. No player has provided more open-play assists in the Premier League than Fernandes since he made his Man Utd debut.
Man Utd made it 3-1 in the 75th minute with Rashford again scoring and Fernandes again playing a key role.
Fernandes sent a delicious ball around the defense and Christian Eriksen timed his run perfectly to receive the ball. The Danish midfielder then selflessly passed a pass to Rashford, who finished from close range.
That victory moved Man Utd up to fifth place in the Premier League points table. The Red Devils have already won their last four games in the English top flight. That was after their terrible start to the PL 22/23 campaign.
Man Utd had succumbed to defeat in their first two games of the season, going down 2-1 to Brighton and 4-0 to Brentford.
Man Utd then secured their first win of the campaign when they hosted bitter rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford. Erik ten Hag’s side inflicted a 2-1 defeat on Liverpool to win all three points.
Man Utd then defeated Southampton 1-0 before beating Leicester City in the next game by the same margin.
Man Utd now have 12 points from their first six games. They are just three points behind league leaders Arsenal.
