A Liverpool transfer target has reportedly left an intriguing reaction to a comment on his most recent Instagram post.
Over the festive period, the Reds reportedly contacted Fulham about a potential January transfer for Antonee Robinson to help ease their injury crisis at left-back amid the injury absences of Kostas Tsimikas and Andy Robertson (90min ).
Those links have cooled slightly since early January, although the US international returned to Merseyside consciousness when he played against Jurgen Klopp’s side in the Cottagers’ 2-1 Carabao Cup defeat in midweek.
The 26-year-old posted photos from the match on his Instagram profile alongside the caption “All hands on deck at the cottage”, with Marco Silva’s side keeping alive the tie for the return leg at Craven Cottage later this month .
A user called jayedwards33 responded to Robinson’s post with the plea to “Please come to Liverpool”, and the Fulham defender initially liked the comment (as shown in a screenshot posted on X by @JoshLFC1909, a stock that the £50,000-a-week American (Capology) has since dumped.
It was probably nothing more than a cheeky tap on the phone by the Reds-linked left-back, but in the middle of a transfer window in this era, it will inevitably spark plenty of talk about it being a possible indication of a desire on his part to move to Anfield.

Is he a player you would like Liverpool to try to sign or are we covered at LB? pic.twitter.com/olDt8Bbw1V

Whether or not that actually comes to fruition should become clearer as the month progresses, with the second leg of the semi-finals offering another ideal opportunity to perhaps put themselves in the shop window heading into the final week of January.
