Olympic gold medalist and two-time World Championship winner, Bakhodir Jalolov (14-0, 14 KOs) is one of the most promising heavyweights in the world. At the moment, he goes back and forth between the amateur and professional ranks. However, he has spoken about fully transitioning to professional boxing after the Paris Olympic Games.

As Diego’s younger brother, boxing fans can expect Pacheco to continue appearing on Matchroom cards. He still has plenty of time to become a top heavyweight. Expect to hear more from him in the coming years.
Justi Huni
Justi Huni (8-0, 4 KOs) is a heavyweight from Australia who should have a promising career ahead of him. In his first professional fight, he fought and won the Australian heavyweight title. After signing with Matchroom, he made his promotional debut on the undercard of O’Shaquie Foster knockout victory over Eduardo Hernández.
“JPH” should be more active this year and move towards contender status. It should only be a matter of time before he mixes it up with the best in the division.
Richard Torrez Jr.
Olympic silver medalist (lost to Jalolov in the final of the Tokyo Olympic Games), Richard Torrez Jr. (8-0, 8 KOs) has remained active since turning professional. He recently moved up to eight rounds and should move up to 10 rounds sometime in 2024. Given Top Rank’s sizable heavyweight stable, Torrez is expected to be in some intriguing matchups in the coming years.
The Tulare native may not be as tall as other heavyweight contenders (he stands at 6’2″), but that hasn’t stopped him from stopping all eight opponents. Fight fans should expect to see improvements in his competition this year At only 24 years old, there is plenty of time for him to become a top contender.
