Liverpool’s squad has been photographed after the international break, with three players returning to action at the AXA Training Center.
More than two weeks after his most recent match against Ajax, Jurgen Klopp has finally reunited the vast majority of his squad, with the September international break wrapping up earlier this week.
And with two days to go until Liverpool host Brighton in the first of 13 games over the next six weeks, the latest training footage shows a number of players who missed the early stages of the season now back in action.
Caoimhin Kelleher, Ibrahima Konate and Calvin Ramsay all appeared to be involved in Thursday’s session and appear poised to boost Klopp’s options for the Reds’ busy pre-World Cup schedule.
After sustaining a groin injury while on international duty at the end of last season, goalkeeper Kelleher returned to training ahead of the international break and now appears to be back to full form.

Konate is another one who hasn’t featured all this season, after sustaining a knee injury in Liverpool’s final pre-season friendly in July. He too appears to be back in contention.
It’s also good to see Ramsay, who arrived in the summer, back in action, having had a rocky start as a Liverpool player.
The right-back arrived at the club with a back problem, and the club wanted to make sure they didn’t rush him back into action.
Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez were not photographed in the session, which would suggest they have been given some extra time to recover after their international exploits in the last fortnight.
Diaz played both of Colombia’s matches against Guatemala and Mexico, and would only have flown back to Merseyside in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Jota revealed that he asked to be substituted in Portugal’s 1-0 loss to Spain on Tuesday, with the striker eager to manage his workload recently returning from a long-standing hamstring problem.
Elsewhere, Fabio Carvalho was photographed working on set pieces with neuro 11, while Andy Robertson, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Curtis Jones and Kaide Gordon remain absent for the time being.
Jurgen Klopp is likely to provide an injury update at his pre-Brighton press conference on Friday afternoon.
