Fabio Vieira has made his first Premier League start for Arsenal since his summer transfer from Porto, stepping into Mikel Arteta’s midfield in place of the absent Martin Odegaard.
The Portuguese playmaker seems like an exciting prospect, but he has yet to have a chance to make a big impact in the Premier League.
Odegaard has been one of Arsenal’s most important players this season, with the Norway international really upping his game since Arteta named him club captain.
It won’t be easy for Vieira to replace Odegaard as Arsenal’s main playmaker in midfield, but the fans will surely be excited to see how he fares in today’s match against Brentford as well.
